FOR ZIPRECRUITER

To celebrate the company's 2018 achievements, ZipRecruiter secured Clifton's Republic in downtown LA for a festive company-wide gathering. The branding reflects the eclectic long-standing history of the 4-story space with references to the company's global offices.

VENUE HISTORY

Clifton's is centered in the heart of downtown LA's historic district, and its current state is a prominent representation of its colorful past. What first began as a cafeteria with over-the-top dining rooms, has been transformed into a multi-level bar and club with the same themed spaces. Upon stepping through the door, visitors are transported through Clifton's fantasy world from redwood forest to tiki bar.

NEON SIGNS

During a re-model in 2012, a neon sign was uncovered from a wall that appeared to have been lit for nearly 77 years since its installation in 1935. That neon currently holds the record for the oldest active neon in the world. The decision to create the Holiday Party lockup in a nostalgic neon is a nod to this special history.

INVITATION

The event invitation was emailed to employees at global offices. The invite provided the necessary event details and captured the spirit of the venue which set the tone for the event. Since the venue is a self-proclaimed "Cabinet of Curiosities", the invite features a cabinet with symbolic decorations. Some items represent the various company offices, such as the cactus for the office in Arizona. While some items represent the venue's spaces, like the tall redwoods and palm trees. The same look and feel was prominent in all other event collateral such from the welcome sign to the colored lights.
